Mulching Service in Texas

Mulching Texas

Professional Forestry Mulching & Brush Grinding in Texas

At Outlaw Construction, one of our specialties is forestry mulching and brush grinding. Our advanced equipment and experienced team deliver quick and sustainable results.

We have two different sizes of mulchers to handle any type of acreage we might encounter. For clearing around large hardwood trees we have a high-flow skid steer, which allows us to raise the canopy and reestablish the forest floor. Our Tigercat 726 wheel mulcher is ideal for large-acre projects.  Our team focuses on removing only what you don’t want while preserving the native Texas trees and vegetation.

Here in Texas, we have a serious problem with invasive cedar trees and mesquite bushes taking over pastures and productive land. Outlaw Construction’s forestry mulching machines are excellent tools for thick vegetation, brush growth, and small-diameter trees. Our mulching provides a fast and environmentally friendly service, turning unwanted trees into valuable mulch that enhances the soil.

For areas of Texas where fire hazards are high, we highly recommend mulching the trees and brush as a preventative measure. This tool can also help us with tree trimming and grooming. We often canopy trees as high as the machine will reach, allowing you to be able to maintain the trees and property sightlines. When mulching, we cut or grind trees to ground level where you can easily mow or maintain your property. After several years, small tree and vegetation roots will naturally disintegrate.

What is forestry mulching?

What is forestry mulching?

Forestry Mulching is an advanced land management technique used to successfully clear unwanted vegetation while still preserving soil integrity and minimizing environmental impact. It uses professional machinery to cut, grind, and mulch trees, brush, and undergrowth on site. This process eliminates the need for burning, hauling, or multiple phases of cleanup.

This process creates a nutrient-rich mulch that becomes a protective layer of earth. It helps prevent invasive plant regrowth, stabilizes the soil, reduces erosion, and ultimately promotes long term land health. Mulching is a one-step process, making it a time-efficient and affordable land-clearing option in Texas.

Why Is Forestry Mulching Important In Texas?

Forestry mulching addresses issues that are unique to Texas’ environment. It is used to reduce the risk of wildfire by removing dead and invasive plant species that might act as fuel for a fire. Mulching helps Texas landowners to reclaim pastureland for construction or agriculture from vegetation – such as mesquite and cedar – that might be harmful to beneficial plants (such as crops or native grasses) and restrict livestock movement.

It’s a popular method that leaves the soil nourished and better able to retain moisture, especially in areas of North Texas, such as Fannin County, where heavy rains might wash good soil away.

Forestry mulching is suitable for a wide range of jobs in Texas. Landowners often have projects that include:

  • Right-of-way maintenance
  • Utility easements
  • Site preparations
  • Development projects
  • Large-acreage clean ups
  • Clearing fence lines
  • Maintaining trails
  • Overgrown lots and more
